No matter where you are on your faith journey, may you find peace in loving God despite all the ways we can get sidetracked, much like the Israelites did when Moses recited these words as a cornerstone for living. May your day be shaped by God’s love and filled with His Shalom, His peace.
I know some of you moms are needing help in some specific ways today. Will you remember this promise? “For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” (Is 41:13) Sometimes the help God provides looks different from how we would provide it and we often pray that God would solve our problems according to our desires. How many times have we asked God to work His power into what we feel is best and how we want things to go? Guilty!

At some point in your life maybe you have wondered, Who is this woman? Is she even a real person? Maybe you have tried to compare her with people you know or have encountered in your life and even with yourself. I would venture to believe that most of us would think she is the “standard” of what a good Christian woman looks like. If that is true for you then this woman is everything you would want to be, hoped you could be, and is possibly the reason why you might have felt like you don’t measure up.
